The Latest issue of My Hero Academia Volume 24 was listed as No. 4 on the July New York Times Graphic and Manga best seller list. Volume 24 was not the only My Hero Academia volume in the top ten Volume 1 also made the list as it ranked 9th.
The New York Times added Graphic Novels and Manga Best Sellers list in October of last year, this is not the first time My Hero Academia has made the top ten on the list, back in November Volume 21 found it self ranked at number 3. This just goes to shows the popularity of both Manga and Anime outside of Japan, as it would face heavy competition from American comic book giants, so to make the top ten is a great achievement.
My Hero Academia is the Story of Izuku Midoriya known as Deku and his Journey to become the No. 1 hero in all of Japan just like his Favorite hero All Might. However in world where 80% of the world is born with some Quirk, Midoriya is born without, but that wont stop him from achieving his dream. After a fateful encounter with his idol his world would change now he is enrolled in the number 1 hero school UA where he will learn what it takes to become a true hero.
