This season we will be bringing you more new content than ever, with huge interviews and introducing our brand new Pop Culture episodes, where we talk all things geek, as well as providing you with all the latest wrestling news and reviews.
Episode 1 X-Men Appreciation Episode
In episode one, we introduce the newest member of Team Venom Media, Stephen Sowden, as we celebrate and discuss the fact the first X-men film debuted 20 years ago. So David, Rory, Stephen and my self discuss the highs and lows of the Fox films, including our expectations of the upcoming New Mutants movie. We don’t stop there though as team get into the comic storylines before listing our top 5 movies and top ten X-men.
Episode 2 CM Punk Discussion, Extreme Rules 2020 Impact and More
David, Rory and I talk about all that’s been happening in the world of wrestling, including topics such as CM punk possibly joining AEW, everything that went down at WWE’s Extreme Rules 2020 PPV, the IMPACT after Slammiversary and other topics in the wrestling rumour mill.
Episode 3 Interview with Beyond the end of my Street author LH Cope
Rory, David and I got to welcome a very special guest this week as Lee Cope, the author of the independent comic ‘Beyond the end of my street’ (BTEOMS) joins us for a chat. We discuss who inspired him, what brought him to start writing BTEOMS, the trials and tribulations of writing and printing your own comic and getting his comic graded, as well as the process of up loading his comic to Comixoligy. As we discussed the X-men the other week we get his thoughts on his favourite X-men, before running a competition for a copy of Issue 1 of BTEOMS.
Episode 4 Wrestling News and Reviews
David, Rory and I discuss all the latest news and review all the latest going ons in the wrestling world. In this episode we discuss MLW, ROH, WWE and AEW. There are a variety of topics this week including Jacob Fatu signing new contract with AEW, Alister Black’s possible gimmick change whilst I pose the question of if Undertaker was held back by his Gimmick. Other topics include the possible return of Mike and Maria Bennet heading back to ROH, Wrestlehouse on IMPACT and much more.
Epiosde 5 Transformer appreciation
Stephen returns for his second appearance this week, he joins Dave and I as we talk all things Transformers. With Netflix releasing the first part of a new anime trilogy series ‘Transformers: War on Cybertron’ we thought it would be appropriate to share our appreciation for Transformers. Being of certain age, we discussed our memories of the original series, we discuss and review the latest series, before deep diving into Transformers history and lore including the comic series. Finally we announced the winner of our Beyond the end of my street competition.
So as you can see the new series of Talking Trash has well and truly started and we’re not finished yet, with more special guests and another brand new show to come.
