Ring Of Honour wrestling has announced that they will be returning to the air soon, as all new episodes are scheduled to start in the State of Maryland later this month. ROH have not held a live show since February of this year, since the global health pandemic took hold of the world. Stating that the safety of fans and performers was their top concern before returning to regular scheduled programming.
ROH COO Joe Koff said;
“Taking care of our people during this difficult time has been and still is our No. 1 priority, That’s why we have spent many weeks working alongside the Maryland State commission in gearing towards our return to producing wrestling action. The strictest of protocols, testing and measures will be in place to assure us of this directive.”
As such ROH are looking to adhere to the strictest and most stringent precautions for their return to live and taped shows, on top of the fairly comprehensive regulations set up by the Maryland State Athletic Commission. The company will be taking all of the necessary safety measures and testing as they look to do everything they can to ensure they help curb the spread of Covid 19 and currently there will be no fans in attendance and only essential staff members will be present at each show.
As stated the last live show from ROH was the Best In The World PPV back in Febuary, ROH did have two shows booked for Las Vegas in March, the 18th Anniversary shows as well as the Past vs Present Show. Since then the company opted to halt all taping of shows until these shows could be held safely, the new shows will hopefully pick up where they left off, with the return of the Pure title, in which ROH will be having a tournament to decide the champion.
