Deonna Purrazzo and Rohit Raju on Their Bound For Glory opponents

I had the pleasure of taking part in Impact Wrestling’s Press Pass and got to ask The X Division champion and Knockouts champion about the upcoming PPV Bound for Glory

I asked the following question “You guys have had very different runs To capture your respected Championships, but what separates you from your opponent’s at Bound For Glory?”

Deonna had this to say” im going to say this a million times before Bound For Glory but my mindset is what separates me from Kylie Ray, I have had a clear path and a clear game plan of

what I want to achieve up until this point in impact, and I’ve hit that target every single time. I wanted to be the champion I accomplished that at slammiversary. I had to beat Jordynne Grace in the first ever knockouts Iron man match and Bound for Glory is another step in proving I am everything that I say I am, and we saw a different side of kylie ray we haven’t seen me deviate too much and i got Kylie ray to deviate from her game plan and her morale compass and all the things that make smiley kylie who she is, faith and passion and whatever. I am here to be the champion and I’m here to do what I have to do so it’s gonna be up to kylie to do what she has to do and not get in her own way again“

Rohit Raju - “for me it’s being the underdog, look at everyone who is in this match up besides me, every Individual came in to impact with hype and fan fair and glorious stuff, they was already pushed to the top. Me, I came in at the bottom was always at the bottom, whenever I was on tv everyone was like He’s gonna lose, I was always the underdo, I still go in to bound for glory as the underdog. People keep saying I’m cheating and skeevin, but I’m gonna do whatever it takes to keep this title!. Like I said before I am FINALLY sitting at the big people table, the large table, the royalty table and guess what?,the food it tastes that much better at the royalty table, it tastes that much better at the championship Banquet. I don’t wanna go back down their eating scrap, you know what that stuff tastes like? It tastes gross, I don’t want that anymore. I’ve had a taste of the glorious food at the championship banquet that’s why I do whatever it takes to keep my title, and I’m gonna do that at Bound For Glory. Underdog or no underdog all this hype and fan fair all these fan favourite, all their fans in Twitter all their followers hyping them up talking about how they are gonna take the title away from me. It’s not gonna happen. I’ll find a way to beat em, I’ll find a way to out smart em, I’ll find a way to walk out on October 24th YOUR X Division Champion”

Deonna and Rohit will both defend their championships at Bound for Glory on October 24th, which you can watch on Impact Plus or Fite TV
