Possible Cross Promotional Dream Match

Since the inception of AEW much has been said about their tag division, which many claim is the best tag division in the world. The division is spearheaded by the Young Bucks, who are arguably one of the best modern tag teams. When the former Revival, now known as FTR, arrived at AEW they made a claim that they are the best tag team of the modern generation and since then everyone was salivating over the thought of the dream match of FTR Vs The Young Bucks. However a recent twitter exchange between Dax Harwood of FTR and Ethan Page of IMPACT wrestling’s the North, has sparked the flames of a possible cross promotional dream match between the North and FTR.

The North having been holding the Tag Division of IMPACT wrestling for over year, recently becoming the longest reigning tag team champions in IMPACT history, before eventually loosing their titles to the Motor City Machine Guns. During their championship reign they were earning plaudits from industry professionals, quickly stating claim as another great tag team that should be in discussion when talking about the greatest tag teams of this century. The flames of a possible cross promotional tag team match were stoked further, when EVP of IMPACT wrestling Scott D’Amore chimed into the conversation. Scott would reply to original tweet, stating that they would be more than happy to have the teams from the two promotions face of against each other, calling on his old friend Chris Jericho to help make it happen.

AEW have worked with many independent wrestlers who are not signed exclusively with AEW. Cody Rhodes’ recent open challenge is great example of this, bringing in the likes of Ricky Starks, Eddie Kingston and Warhorse. So with AEW openly working with industry stars that are not contracted, there is chance that this match could happen, if the two the companies can come to some sort of agreement. Dax and Ethan would continue to talk about the money to be made from the match, whilst taking shots at each other over who would win.
