Potential Restart

Recently MLW CEO Court Bauer spoke to MLW.com about the possible return to action for MLW, after many MLW athletes and the CEO himself have been releasing cryptic tweets, stoking the flames that MLW could be returning soon. Discussing the fact that he has been encouraged by the recent Covid restriction eases and the return of many live sporting events such as boxing, UFC, NBA and others. He also discussed the fact that safety and caution is still the right approach, noting that he will be working with many different companies on how best to approach a re-start.

“We are speaking with some of the sharpest minds at Johns Hopkins University & Medicine on a restart and talked with New Japan’s people on how they’ve approached it – and they’ve done an incredible job… we also engaged some of our athletes who have competed outside of MLW during the pandemic to see what worked, what didn’t and what could be improved upon.”

Although there is no confirmed date as yet, it is expected to be coming back within the next month.

Salina De La Renta Renews Promotor/Manager Licence

It has been revealed by MLW.com that Salina De La Renta has once again renewed her manager and promoter’s licence within MLW. The empresaria of Promociones Dorado will once again be able to manage and promote clients within MLW, having previously brokered some of MLW’s biggest matches as well as managing some of its biggest stars.

A press release from the Promociones Dorado was quick to remind every one of this, touting her history with MLW and Latin American sport stars. Although there seems to be no indication of what she is planning, with many speculating she is readying her self to take revenge on the Contra Unit or whether the La Park familia in her crosshairs.

Is Gino Out Of Dynasty?

During the most recent Pulp fusion, the Dynasty Bros Richard Holliday and Alexander Hammerstone hosted a public Zoom for the Dynasty, however Gino Medina was clearly absent. Yet Gino did not seem hard to find as Pulp Fusion cameras managed to catch up with him looking for the Mamacitas, leading to speculation that Holliday and Hammerstone have heat with Medina.

Later on, the second generation luchadore, Gino would take a twitter to post a Meme stating that the Mamacitas were more important than his Dynasty duties. Richard Holliday took offence to this and questioned if Gino did not think he would see the post, Gino would then answer by stating that he simply did not care if he saw it or not. Even the former Dynasty original MJF would weigh in on the situation asking Holliday what had he let happen to his former group, only managing to stoke the flames further with Holliday responding with, “We all know who the real Dynasty is”.
