TNA have found themselves banned from the streaming service Twitch. The company, which at one point relied on the streaming service to maintain their weekly show have found themselves in breach of the companies terms and services with regards to sex and nudity. This comes off the back of a segment with RVD, his wife Katie Forbes and her girlfriend in which they were celebrating his recent victory at the TNA PPV Hard To Kill, by having... a threesome, eat your heart out Rated R Superstar Edge, this certainly took things to a new level. Now of course the actual act did not take place in the segment, but they were definitely suggestive and this seems to have been enough to find TNA removed from the streaming site. There is currently no news on whether or not this ban is permanent or not.
Opinion
TNA are not ones to shy away from controversy, having recently made Tessa Blanchard their heavy weight champion, which is already some what seen as controversial decision even before the recent allegations with regards to her being a bully and a racist. I do believe TNA run a policy of there’s no such thing as bad publicity and will push RVD to use this in his character, certainly most likely in his next promo. Wrestling as a whole has been pushing boundaries since the early days and will continue to do so otherwise it wouldn’t be entertaining, and although the video may be NSFW its not really that bad. TNA do have somewhat of a loyal following of fans who only watch them via the streaming service, so they will want to smooth this out as soon as possible.
