This Friday, Impact Wrestling comes back to UK screens on Spike TV at 9pm (Freeview Channel 31, Sky Channel 160). We at Team Venom spoke exclusively to Impact Wrestling's Jeff Jarrett about their re-debut, his career and more in an interview that will be release shortly as part of the new Team Venom Wrestling Podcast Series where he said the following:
On Impact Wrestling's UK debut: "We are super excited to be launching on Spike this Friday. Spike is widely distributed in the United Kingdom and for Impact to be coming back on the air and re-establishing the timeslot, the fanbase, the replay schedule and everything that goes with - we're very, very excited. June 19th 2002 was our very first show for Impact and now here we are fastly approaching our fifteenth year anniversary which will be Slammiversary live from Orlando and can be seen on Spike - we really are excited. This will be a great opportunity and it's a great episode to be kicking off with. Bobby Lashley will be defending his title against James Storm. Neither guy is a stranger to the UK scene and we have a knockouts title match, we have LAX the tag team champions on the air, we have an X-Division title match so par for the course, we'll present four distinct divisions and everything to go with that. So we are just super excited to be partnering with Spike and everything that goes with it. We have Facebook Live planned for it on Friday and all of our social media such as @SpikeTV, @ImpactWrestling and @RealJeffJarrett - I'll throw that in there. We are definately spreading the word, super excited and I just cannot be more thankful and cannot wait for Friday night for the UK fans to get a taste of Impact Wrestling once again."
