My Hero Academia; Heroes Rising is being screened in over a thousand cinemas across the UK and Ireland, Canada and the US, but will only be available for two nights, February 26th and 27th. With both English audio as well as Japanese audio with English Subtitles, depending on location - check your local listings. Confirmed cinema chains that will be showing the film include Cineworld and VUE, you can also check the Manga Entertainment official website mhaheroesrising.co.uk which will display show times and locations.
Heroes Rising is the second film, for the incredibly popular Anime and Manga series. The first film, Two Heroes is available on Netflix, although the first film was an original work and not from the Manga series. The second film is based on the Manga, more specifically the story Arc which takes place after the events of the current season, (season 4), so some knowledge of either the Manga or Anime source material may be required to understand the timeline of the film.
Opinion
I cannot wait, and I have my tickets booked, so look for a review of film shortly after. If you or your kids like superheroes, if you’re fans of either DC and Marvel I would highly recommend getting into My Hero Academia, and all though I did state some knowledge of the source material is recommend it is not essential, but if need be you can always watch the first film on Netflix which will give you brief over view of the series.
