he Brit Wres scene was shaken to its core last week due to the speaking out movement, as such there have been many casualties from top stars to top companies, down to local independent companies. One such casualty was InOut Wrestling who have chosen to close their doors. However it’s not been all bad, as since the speaking out movement, the Brit Wres scene has seen sweeping changes, with companies looking to safe guard their talent and their fans, one such company is British Wrestling Revolution (BWR) the company has decided to go on Hiatus for the remainder of 2020 and going into 2021 to help implement changes.
InOut Wrestling
Based in the North West of England and known for bringing affordable family friendly shows to the Cheshire area, the company was only founded in 2019, but have chosen to close their doors. With InOut Wrestling under worries over safety of both fans and talent as well as not knowing who they could trust InOut Wrestling announced the news from their twitter account earlier today.
British Wrestling Revolution
Based in Grimsby the BWR have been active since 2017, as their name would suggest they looking to cause a revolution within the Industry, hiring ring announcer Lucy Openshaw and former wrestler James Hannah to their leadership team, James is also qualified in education, health and social care. The company has decided to go on Hiatus as the leadership team looks to see what safe guarding measures can be put in place, they announced the news on twitter earlier today they join Pete Dunne’s Promotion Attack Pro Wrestling who announced they were going on hiatus last week.
