The Six-Step Process is a regular interview that we ran on both the Team Venom website and Team Venom Magazine and will run on this website on a regular basis. Basically we ask the same 6 questions in a kind of “quick-fire” interview with a top independent talent. This week’s 6-Step is with one of Europe's top up-and-coming talents, Nate Delvin.
1. What got you into wrestling?
I remember watching a wrestling match on youtube with Rey Mysterio in it, and I remember being blown away and amazed by all the cool moves he did. I started watching random wrestling matches on youtube and not long after that I was watching almost everything from every big wrestling promotion I could get my hands on. And from that point on I've never stopped watching wrestling, and now I am a professional wrestler myself.
2. What’s been your favourite experience so far?
I've already had quite some great and fun experiences, but just a few weeks back, I had my debut on one of the WxW Academy shows and it was so much fun performing in front of such a responsive audience. The atmosphere felt amazing.
3. Where has been your favourite place to work so far?
I guess I answered this question already, Essen, Germany. Those people made my debut in WxW even more so special.
4. What would be your dream scenario?
There are just so many great wrestlers right now that I would love to face one day, but since Daniel Bryan retired, I'll have to say Nakamura. Outside of WWE, I would have to say my trainer Tommy End, Kenny Omega, Zack Sabre Jr., Timothy Thatcher or Chris Hero. Those men are beyond incredible.
5. Who have been your favourite people to work with?
I've really enjoyed working with every opponent I've faced so far, but facing Mot van Kunder at a PWH show was so weird and so much fun at the same time. I learned so many things in that match alone. So yeah, he was a real pleasure to work with.
6. What does the future hold for you?
That is really hard to say, all I know is that I keep on training hard and doing whatever it takes to keep improving and I hope I can do the thing that I love for a very, very long time.
