The Six-Step Process is a regular interview that we ran on both the Team Venom website and Team Venom Magazine and will run on this website on a regular basis. Basically we ask the same 6 questions in a kind of “quick-fire” interview with a random top British talent. This week’s 6-Step is with Kyle Kingsley
1. What got you into wrestling?
I first got into wrestling because when I was a kid my dad used to watch wrestling with his friends all the time. I occasionally got to see the shows he was watching and just loved it.
2. What’s been your favourite match so far?
I have a couple of favourite matches from my relatively short time in wrestling. I enjoyed my match with Jurgen Hiemlich early on and any of my matches with Robert Sharpe. However my favourite is being able to wrestle Alton Thorne the first time. As I have enjoyed every time since.
3. Who has been your favourite opponent so far?
As In the last case my time working with Alton Thorne is always fun and we push each other to be better every single time we get in the ring.
4. Where has been your favourite town or place to work?
I haven’t worked in many places if I’m honest so far I enjoy working in forest town as the crowd is always quite lively.
5. Who would be your dream opponent?
Now this is the tricky one, on the British scene aside from the obvious ones of wanting to wrestle the two guys I owe for most of my training in Joe Conners and Stixx, I’d have to say it would be between Dave mastiff and Bubblegum as I have a lot of respect for both of those guys and think that I could learn a lot. If it was anyone anywhere it’d be Finn Balor (Prince Devitt) or from the past William Regal would be pretty cool.
6. What does the future hold for Kingsley?
The future for me holds trying to build my name more on the scene and develop my work more by hopefully working more people and learning from some of the amazing talent there is on the British scene. See what the coming years bring.
