An Interview with Kira Fox (The Six Step Process)

The Six-Step Process is a regular interview that we ran on both the Team Venom website and Team Venom Magazine and will run on this website on a regular basis. Basically we ask the same 6 questions in a kind of “quick-fire” interview with a random top British talent. This week’s 6-Step is with one of the UK's up-and-coming female talents, Kira Fox. Going forward, we will be widening the net and including top Independent talent from around the world and will be including non-wrestling personalities such as announcers, referees, general managers etc. as well.

1. What got you into Wrestling?

I always loved wrestling as a child, as i got older i loved martial arts and anime, I've always been a physical person, loved sports gymnastics, dance, swimming, rock climbing etc. I've always been a bit of a thrill seeker, never thought i would be able to do that kind of thing for work, then my best friend joined the circus so i followed her did 3 years doing shows came home for a couple of months before going to another show in Argentina, I was looking for something to keep my fitness up and learn something new and saw my mate Paul Mcsherry who was wrestling he told me to come down with my circus skills i would do really well so i gave it a go and loved it, its a mix of all the things i love high flying, contortion, performance, acting i also love the kids shows and the fans are just amazing!

2. Favourite match so far?

I've loved all the opportunities I've had so fair its nice to fight with people i know well and have trained with like Paul Mcsherry, Samson, Vinnie Kray, Cai Payne, Sarah Hill etc. because they know what I'm capable of and push me.

3. Who has been your favourite opponent?

Nightshade was fun to fight, she's strong and didn't go easy on me, which i like, i think a lot of people see me as a little girl but I'm a lot stronger than i look and i like being tested.

4. What's been your favourite town to work in?

I like working in new places any opportunity to see a new town I'm happy but its always good to perform in my home town MK with all my family and friends.

5. If you could work with anyone who would it be?

I'd love to work with Jeff Hardy.

6. What does the future hold for you?

A lot - I hope, I've got big dreams, I wanna travel and fight everywhere I can.
