An Interview with Gabriel Kidd - The Six Step Process.

Hey gang. It's the time of the week where we visit the Six Step Process. For those that are new, this was a regular interview the Venom boys used to run on a regular basis. It's where they would ask random top independent wrestlers the same six questions, in a quick fire style interview. Well it's back!!!

I'm super excited for this week, as I had the chance to have a catch up with none other than World Of Sport Wrestling star 'The Young Bull' Gabriel Kidd!! (Girly squeal) If you don't know who he is, I think maybe you have been living under a rock. Gabriel Kidd is a local lad, from Nottingham who has been involved in so many promotions including House of Pain, LCW, Elevation, Southside and Paradox to name a few, and now even on World Of Sport Wrestling.

I remember the first time I ever saw Gabe wrestle years ago back in the old LCW days. I always thought I was witnessing something special, and today he's proving me right (Cheers Gabe!)

Any way here is what he had to say. Enjoy.

1. What got you into wrestling?

I was flicking through the channels at my grandma’s house in Ireland and came across an episode of Smackdown. The undertaker was making his entrance and I was glued to the TV. He wrestled Mark Henry and I was hooked from there.

2. What’s been your favourite experience so far?

Travelling to Los Angeles to train under Katsuyori Shibata at the NJPW LA Dojo. The hardest but most beneficial thing I’ve ever done.

3. Where has been your favourite place to work so far?

In terms of promotion I can’t pinpoint one. But location wise, Canada was definitely a highlight. The crowd there was wild.

4. What would be your dream scenario?

Main Event in the Tokyo Dome.

5. Who have been your favourite people to work with?

Zack Sabre Jr, Jay Lethal, Joseph Conners, Rampage Brown, Martin Kirby, CJ Banks to name a few.

6. What does the future hold for you?

We will see. I don’t like publicly displaying my intentions. My work will continue to speak for itself.

If you would like to keep up with Gabriel Kidd, find him on social media.
