The Six-Step Process is a regular interview that we ran on both the Team Venom website and Team Venom Magazine and will run on this website on a regular basis. Basically we ask the same 6 questions in a kind of “quick-fire” interview with a random top independent talent. This week’s 6-Step is with one of the US’s top up-and-coming female competitors, Eva Summers.
1. What got you into wrestling?
I’ve watched the WWE for some years on TV (from 2008 exactly) and quickly I found it interesting, untypical and amazing. Then late 2011 I went to my first wrestling show, when the WWE came to France. And at that exact moment I said to myself “that’s what I want to do”. For personal reasons I couldn’t try right away, but 2 years later I went to my first training, and here I am.
2. What’s been your favourite experience so far?
Each experience is different, that’s what is good when you wrestle. But if I had to choose one I’d say when I won the Pro Wrestling Allstars championship (Belgium) and became the Queen of Diamonds.
3. Where has been your favourite place to work so far?
My favorite place to work is at home, in APC (Paris), because this is where I train, this is home to me, and it’s always a pleasure to wrestle there, with this amazing crowd that we have.
4. What would be your dream scenario?
My dream scenario would be to beat out every single wrestler who would think they could win my championship. And in my dreams, I would wrestle with Mickie James.
5. Who have been your favourite people to work with?
Almost everybody, from the wrestlers I’ve faced to the bookers. But Morgane Leigh, a female French wrestler, would be my favorite. She was my first opponent ever, and thanks to her I got to wrestle for other promotions. She helped me get a start, and I will always thank her for that.
6. What does the future hold for you?
More belts, more matches, new places, new crowds. This is what I’d wish for.
