An Interview with Andrew Palace (The Six Step Process)

The Six-Step Process is a regular interview that we ran on both the Team Venom website and Team Venom Magazine and will run on this website on a regular basis. Basically we ask the same 6 questions in a kind of “quick-fire” interview with a random top independent talent. This week’s 6-Step is with one of the US's top indie stars, Andrew Palace.

1. What got you into wrestling?

I loved watching it growing up. Everything was just larger than life as though it was a live action comic book. So ever since I was little I said, "I'm gonna be a pro wrestler." Most people thought I was joking but as we see now that wasn't the case. haha

2. What’s been your favourite experience so far?

There are so many it's hard to choose. I've worked a bunch of big name guys, I was in the main event of lots of shows, I won titles, and I traveled to alot of places. Every chance I get to do what I love I get a new experience I can hold on too. If I had to pick though I'd say my favorite experience is meeting all these wacky people involved in this wrestling business, it's crazy!

3. Where has been your favourite place to work so far?

My favorite place is going to a new place. It's hard to pick but If I have to pick a place I've been to I'd say the place IWC goes to in Meadville is always fun because the fans are always real excited and there is many of them.

4. What would be your dream scenario?

Wrestling at the grandest stage of them all WRESTLEMANIA, or wrestling in Japan especially the Tokyo dome.

5. Who have been your favourite people to work with?

Hard questions! I feel I always learn when I step in the ring with anybody. DJZ was one of my first singles matches and really made me step out of my comfort zone which helped me to progress as a performer, plus he's just really freaking good. Gory is always fun to work with. Jimmy Nutts is great. Many of the guys I was in big fueds with helped me grow. Just so many!

6. What does the future hold for you?

Hopefully many many more years of this wrestling thing. I want to travel and wrestle around the world, meet amazing new people, and have a few crazy stories I can tell people when it's all done. This is my passion and I will continue to pursue this until I no longer can.
