The Six-Step Process is a regular interview that we ran on both the Team Venom website and Team Venom Magazine and will run on this website on a regular basis. Basically we ask the same 6 questions in a kind of “quick-fire” interview with a random top independent talent. This week’s 6-Step is with one of the indie scene’s top up-and-comers, A-Buck.
1. What got you into wrestling?
It started in July 2007 when I watched a WWE Show but before this I already knew of pro-wrestling. I'd watched a show back '00, in 2002 I remember I had a demo of WWF SmackDown with some legendary wrestlers like The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, Kane & Steve Austin - it was funny. In August '07 I decided I wanted to be a pro Wrestler so I started my first pro wrestling training in France in the APC Promotion which I wrestle for now.
2. What’s been your favourite experience so far?
I've had a lot of good memories, you know? Like when I won my first title in APC (French Promotion) and to wrestle in different countries. These are my favorite moments that I've had. There's been a lot, I don't know what to pick! Tough question haha.
3. Where has been your favourite place to work so far?
Tough question I'm a tell you CTW Portugal and DPW Netherlands. It's a tough choice but in France I'll tell you APC & ICWA are my favorite places in my country.
4. What would be your dream scenario?
To wrestle against Bobby Lashley will be my dream scenario for whatever promotion it is! I wish to wrestle Lashley in a one on one match - he's my favorite wrestler in the business! A-Buck VS Bobby Lashley will be amazing.
5. Who have been your favourite people to work with?
Kenzo Richards. it's good to work with him and to share the ring with him is amazing - his chops freakin' hurt you bro haha! I still have the marks of his chops for 2-3 weeks. He is my favorite wrestler in Europe so far.
6. What does the future hold for you?
I pray I get a contact to wrestle for WWE - that's my goal, I will not stop! Whatever people say behind me, I know if I work hard for it I will wrestle there! Jesus got my back - nothing can stop me, believe me bro.
