Acey Romero Answers Media Questions

Newest Impact Wrestling Signing Acey Romero Spoke on the Impact Wrestling Media Advisory in which Team Venom, Wrestletalk, Whatculture and other media company's took part in.

A media Q&A was taken and here are a few questions answered that we asked and what we thought was the best of the bunch.

Connor Franks, Team Venom Media: You've already had some great matches with the likes of Darby Allin and Sami Callihan is there anyone in particular on the Impact Roster you're hoping to get in the ring with?

i'm a big guy so i would love to toss it up with Michael Elgin or Eddie Edwards, I've faced Elgin before but never gone up against Eddie and he's a New England guy so i think that would be fun.

(Editors note; the following are from other outlets that we enjoyed listening to)

You're Defined as the 401 pound Behemoth, do you feel it is an issue to be defined for your size and through your career have you ever suffered from discrimination because of it?

i don't know if i would call it discrimination but that might depend on who you ask, but I've definitely been in a few locker rooms where i can tell people are judging me thinking maybe im gonna be a certain way or slow in the ring or tired easily or just basically not an athlete but the best part about that is that when the bell rings their perspective changes right away because the way i am in the ring not many people can do that

Given your stature how did you come up with your move set?

well i dont think i have that many moves i do the Black Hole Slam which is a tribute to Abyss and obviously i do the pounce which i used to watch Monty Brown do but other than that its just whatever i happen to do

Acey can you talk about the agility you have in the ring?

I've always kind of had it its never been a struggle to move around in some sense, I've fluctuated with my weight through my career but the agility has always been there ever since day one and i have always been able to move around even as much as the guys with 6 pack abs

What was some of the characteristics of Impact Wrestling that made you want to sign with the company?

The Locker Room first and foremost, the locker room are so talented and the best bar none i think out of any TV company out there and i know alot of the guys and girls in the locker room, and its also a place to get better in a place where everyone is just killing it
