Video Package
The Show opens up with a recap package of two previous main events, looking at the war between team Filthy, Tom Lawler, Dominick Garinni, Erick Stevens and Rip “Von Erich” Osborne, against the alliance of Von Erich bothers Ross and Marshall, Davey Boy Smith Jr and Killer Kross. At the end of last weeks episode it looked as if King Mo has joined forces with team Filthy, after last week’s main event we saw the two teams continue to fight back stage, it was King Mo who put an end to the brawl, after hitting Killer Kross with a 2 by 4. Kross was sent to hospital following the fight due to the actions of King Mo, MLW officials had no option but to suspend King Mo.
Back Stage Interview
Alicia Atout is interviewing Dan Lambert, the head of American Top Team and King Mo’s manager, as Alicia talks about the suspension of King Mo. Dan Lambert interrupts her, stating that they have lodged an appeal with the MLW officials and until that appeal has been heard King Mo will be allowed to compete. Thus setting up tonight's main event.
This Week On MLW
This week’s main event of the evening is King Mo Vs Low Ki, this match was in doubt this week due to King Mo being suspended but due to the appeal by Dan Lambert the match will go ahead as planned and we will finally find out who is the king of knock outs in MLW. Also scheduled to compete is Brian Pillman Jr Vs Jordan Oliver as Pillman looks to get a measure of revenge on injustice by beating Jordan Oliver. However Pillman is yet to arrive at the arena, Alica Atout updates from backstage that MLW have been trying to contact Pillman with no luck and he is yet to be seen.
Dominick Garrini Prize fight
As MLW wait to here more about the Pillman situation, we head to the ring where Dominick Garrini is offering up £1000.00 for anyone who can last 5 minutes with him. This is explained further with a backstage interview where Team Filthy discuss the fact that they are actually trained fighters not fake fighters, as they address putting Killer Kross in Hospital and King Mo’s upcoming match with Low Ki. Garrini states he is bringing BJJ to the forefront by introducing his Prize Fight challenge. As Dominick Garrini waits in the ring for an opponent, out comes Dr Dax to answer the challenge, Dr Dax recently competed and lost to King Mo a couple of weeks ago. Dax, he’s big guy but that’s about it, it takes less than a minute for Garrini, who is using his legitimate back ground in BJJ, to take Dr Dax to mat and submit him with a choke hold.
This match/Exhibition got its point across in the fact that Dominick Garrini has a legitimate background in actual combat sports, having won countless competitions and is therefore a legitimately dangerous fighter. However they are clearly using this style of match to hide the fact that Garrini cannot wrestle yet, he still has a lot to learn about pro wrestling. This match was still better than the match King Mo had against Dr Dax.

National Open Weight Championship
Champion Alexander Hammerstone Vs T-hawk
T-hawk a member of faction known as Stronghearts from OWE and AEW, along with El Lindaman and Cima, enters the ring first. Alexander Hammerstone then enters the ring, notably he is not accompanied by any of the Dynasty members. This is Hammerstone’s 8th title defence.
This is a battle of Powerhouses with T-hawk known as the Power master, where as Hammerstone is the meat castle upon the peaks of muscle mountain, as the each look to show their power in the early lock ups of the match. Hammerstone does however have a 60lb weight advantage as he uses his size to take control early on. T-Hawk is then able to use his speed advantage, as he unleashes his incredible chops to Hammerstone chests, stopping the bigman in his tracks, then using his power to suplex him. After some back forth action its T-Hawk who gets the first pinning situation catching the athletic Hammerstone as he goes for a leapfrog, reversing it into a sit out spine buster for a two count. Hammerstone gets up with smile on his face, he seems to be impressed by his opponent, he then really starts to put pressure on T-Hawk taking complete control and showing off his incredible power and speed, even spending his time taunting the audience and plugging his T-Shirt, that a member of audience had bought. It is this boasting that eventually allows T-Hawk a chance to get back into the match using his incredible chops once more. During the comeback, Hammerstone hits an incredible drop-kick, T-Hawk then hits a massive knee to the back of head and they’re both down. Hammerstone is mad now, hitting several big moves in row including a powerbomb into a Boston Crab submission hold, T-Hawk makes it to the rope, Hammerstone drags him back to the middle of the ring, T-Hawk is able to escape using his leg strength. T-Hawk fires up and the two begin to trade forearms back and forth, then hit a couple of big moves each. T-Hawk gets another two count pin following huge tilt a whirl slam. T hawk attempts to go to the top rope, Hammerstone hits an incredible running single leg drop kick, catching T-Hawk up on the turnbuckle, followed by superplex, he then hits the Nightmare pendulum, its academic, no ones kicked out the Nightmare Pendulum, Hammerstone picks up the win.
This was a great match, T-Hawk and the rest of the Stronghearts are mainly used as jobbers whilst adjusting to the American style of wrestling, but they always put on great matches with whoever they are facing. Hammerstone was incredible again he really is beginning to shine without the need for MJF and Holliday, he has tons of personality and charisma and he is just an absolute stud.

Main Event
King Mo Vs Low Ki
King Mo heads to the ring and he is accompanied to by the American top team coach Dan Lambert, Low Ki has Ross Von Erich watching his back for this match, just in case King Mo’s new friends, the members of Team Filthy try to get involved. There is tension in the air even before the match starts, as the referee is giving instructions, the two lock eyes and never look away, King Mo trash talks throughout, Low Ki is silent, the ref tells them to get back to their corners or he will not start fight.
They each throw a few missed kicks, then tie up into the ropes referee separates them, King Mo uses his legit wrestling background and his significant weight to his advantage, as the next time they lock up, King Mo lifts Low Ki with double legs and dumps him out the ring. Low Ki hurt his leg after being dumped, King Mo continues using his wrestling and strength advantage as he begins his onslaught continuing to attack Low Ki’s Injured leg. King Mo starts to get cocky and begins to take Low Ki lightly and that's all the veteran needs, hitting a rolling kick that rocks King Mo, he then wraps up King Mo with his new choke/sleeper hold. Just as King Mo starts to fade, out come Team Filthy members Dominic Garrini and Rip Von Erich, they approach Ross outside, Marshall comes out to even up the score, as Garrini and Rip distract the Von Erichs and the referee outside the ring, in comes Tom Lawler through crowd and using King Mo’s umbrella, he lays out Low Ki, Dan Lambert then steals Ross Von Erichs towel, throwing into the ring, at which point the referee puts a stop to match, due to forfeit and KO, King Mo steals the victory not knowing much having just recovered from Low Ki’s choke hold.
This was actually a good match, King Mo did an excellent job using his MMA background and seemed like a true threat, he still has a lot to learn with regards to selling moves, his acting was a bit over the top. Low Ki was excellent as always a true professional in the ring, he helped to elevate King Mo without it dampening his own momentum.

The Injustice Footage
The video recorded by Injustice earlier, which was given to Alica plays, it is now apparent that the Injustice members assaulted Pillman as he was leaving his hotel, the footage shows a violent beat down which ends with Pillman being curb stomped on a cinder block.
Final Thoughts
Alexander Hammerstone and T-Hawk stole the show, the match was excellent, Hammerstone is a future world champion, whether he stays or goes, he is star in the making. MLW should do all they can to stop him jumping ship. The Low Ki and King Mo match was much better than I expected, MJF and Mance Warner both delivered great promos and I look forward to seeing their match next week. The Pillman Storyline throughout kept you engaged, even though it was obvious that Injustice was involved somehow, it was good way to keep to viewers engaged.
3 and Half Stars overall.
