Collectors Corner: Craig Ordish

In this new feature, we'll be spotlighting some of our readers collections and discussing how they came to attain them. This week's guest is a long time collector of 80s and 90s toys, Craig Ordish.

1. Firstly, what made you want to start collecting Ghostbusters, TMNT, Gladiators, Boglins and the Hasbro WWF figures?

They were what me and my brother had when we were young. I stumbled across a egon at a car boot sale for like 20p so decided to start a collection of what I rembered having as a child.

2. What is the most you can remember paying for an item in your collection?

I try and find bargains at car boots found 7 of the hasbros at cat boot for 2 quid. The most expensive would be the giant turtles I paid 75 for them. They do go for around 50 each if they come available. Had never seen them complete before was at the nec toy fair had to get them.

3. Is there anything in particular that you're after to round out your collection?

There’s so much I’d like to own extending my wwf hasbro collection is one. If I could have only one though it’d be a boxed real ghostbusters egon out of my price range though unfortunately

4. What is your most prized item in your collection?

My ultimate warrior hasbro as this is the only toy in my collection I have had since I was young
